Abstract: Regional Development Bureau of MLIT initiated the nature restoration activities in the area of Tarouemon, Arakawa river and established a committee which is composed of residents, local governments alongside the river, and experts. In this article, the major activities of committee on conservation and restoration of natural environment are introduced.
