Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of 3 different light intensity 10,30,50 (umolm-2 s-1) on the growth and stress responses of cyanobacteria (P. galeata). Result showed that high light intensity makes clear effect on cell growth of P. galeata, cells have lethal effect under 50umolm-2s-1light intensity and Chl-a was significantly decrease (p< 0.5). This study validated that P. galeata cannot survive under the high light.
