Abstract: Waterlogging stress in dryland of wheat fields in northwest of Iran was evaluated during 2015-2017. Fields were randomly selected in three areas with spring rainfall of 0 to 50 mm, 50 to 100 mm, and> 100 mm, and tillage operations were performed using a subsoiler. The results clearly showed that there is no possibility of sustainable and optimal use of the lands due to formation of a hard and impermeable layer in the depth of the soil.
