Abstract: The consolidation of the ice rubble submerged into the sea water at the freezing point is considered when the water salinity and the water freezing point are changed in the time. It is shown that the dependence of the sea ice specific heat capacity from the temperature influences significantly the amount of new ice formed around the rubble due to the reduction of the water freezing point. The influence of periodical changes of the water freezing point on the ice rubble consolidation is investigated. Results of laboratory experiment on the consolidation of fresh ice sample with through hole under systematic changes of the freezing point of surrounded water are described and analyzed.
