Abstract: Shapes of ice piles and ice loads on a platform are calculated with mathematical model assuming cyclic scenario of ice-structure interaction and based on the consideration of mass balance and energy balance equations. The equilibrium shapes of pile sail and pile keel are determined for prescribed speed of ice drift against the platform from the condition that total ice flux into the pile is equal zero. It is shown that the shape of pile sail and pile keel asymptotically tends to be conical when longitudinal velocity of broken ice along the platform is equal to zero. Ice pile of equilibrium shape can include prismatic parts when mean longitudinal velocity of broken ice in the pile is not equal to zero. Global ice loads on the platform are calculated and compared with ice loads on Molikpaq.
