Abstract: Margaret Sara Petersen obtained the BS degree in 1947, andthe MS degree in 1953 from the University of Iowa, Iowa CityIA. She began her employment with the US Corps of Engineers. After graduation she held various posts in research, the design of hydraulic structures, and water resources planning.
