Prediction of Water Surface Elevation in a Channel with Continuous Bends

Abstract: A two dimensional depth averaged model was developed to predict water surface elevation in a channel with continuous bends. It was shown that though secondary flows were not considered in the model, variations of water surface across the channel sections were predicted satisfactorily.
