Abstract: In this paper, a newly developed velocimetry -- MicroADV was used for turbulence measurement and the result shows that the vertical turbulence intensity got by down-looking probe is much lower than that of got by side-looking one. the turbulence structure of sediment-laden flow at different concentration is studied here also, the experiments show that MicroADV is suitable for low concentration flow.
