Abstract: An original numerical tool RS 3.0 has been developed for stormwater and wastewater networks modelling. The main concept allows coupling urban hydrology with water conveyance and pollutant dissemination in complex systems. The main output is the hydraulic and contamination budget in every point of the network The hydrological, hydraulic and contamination models are applied to the stormwater and wastewater conveyance system of Lausanne City, located on the shoreline of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The catchment area is characterized by steep slopes and a high rate of permeable surface. The wastewater network is partly mixed and partly separate. It is connected to a centralized water treatment plant, which is also simulated. Results and analysis issued from simulations are currently used for planning the long term development strategy of the system.
