Abstract: Real-time automatic discharge measurement system using H-ADCP was installed at Hangang Bridge station in Han-river, Korea. The system was operated at an interval of 10 minute, and 34,130 measurements were obtained during March to December in 2007. The system measures channel velocity using two H-ADCP, because the flow is divided into two channels by island located in middle of river. In order to verify measured discharge data, we have compared auto-measured discharge with manual data which were measured by ADCP using moving boat in tide period and flood discharge data were measured by float rod. Also, we analyzed the water balance between Paldang dam and Hangang Bridge using dam outlet discharge, inflow of branches, water intakes and treated water discharge.
