Abstract: Higher education in water related engineering and sciences are characterized by an ongoing adaptation to the needs of the society and the innovation processes in sciences, professions and markets. The Internet revolution, the Bologna process in Europe as well as the globalization in general demand rapid changes of content and learning methods in course programs. This paper roughly describes some related parts of the MSc course EuroAquae- “Hydroinformatics and Water Management”: modules using advanced learning methods of Web based collaborative engineering and a specialization on hydroinformatics systems design and implementation.
