Abstract: The goal of this study is to enhance the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Computer Code (EFDC) and Water Quality Analysis Simulation (WASP) models for simulation of water quality use in Namgang Reservoir. The system of models includes the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code (EFDC) to simulate the circulation and transport of material and the Water Quality Analysis and Simulation Program (WASP) to simulate the response of critical water quality parameters to the loads. The EFDC and WASP models provided a good framework for predicting responses of hydrodynamic and water quality parameters. The results of simulation show that the models capture the primary temporal and spatial distribution of temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen in the system, especially the vertical stratification conditions. This study intends to provide the necessary information for managing of the water quality on the basis of hydrological changes. We tried to combine the hydrodynamic modeling with water quality modeling by using EFDC-Hydro and WASP 7.3 for simulation of reservoir water quality according to change of non-point source in Nam River Basin. Consequently, this study can provide “Intergrated Water Resources Management Tool” using by 1D River Water Quality modeling and 3D Reservoir Water quality modeling.
