Abstract: This paper describes a computational method for incompressible flows, consisting of enables us to deal with the two-fluid system as a single-phase flow with a density distribution. In this method, consideration was given to the treatment of the pressure Poisson equation as well as the numerical accuracy of the convection terms. This method was applied to the two-fluid flows arising in a cavity. As a result, it was shown that the flow patterns and the profiles of the interface between two fluids was reasonably predicted with the proposed computational method. two immiscible fluids with different density. The proposed unified numerical procedure
