Abstract: The Dujiangyan Irrigation Project is an ancient hydraulic Engineering in China. It was built in the period from 256 to 251 B. C. and is now still in operation very well. This paper briefly introduces the layout of the project, arrangement of the headwork, sediment treatment of the project, the management of the headwork and so on.
