Abstract: A comprehensive analytical solution for predicting nonsteady-state drawdowns in two coupled leaky aquifers with confining unit storage and evapotranspiration reduction has recently been developed. Existing analytical solutions for drawdowns in one-and twolayer aquifer systems can be obtained from this more general solution, as demonstrated in terms of six dimensionless parameters that characterize the aquifer and confining unit properties.
