Abstract: In this paper a new water quality model has been established. The Slot method has been used to treat the moving boundary condition for the mild slope of Bohai Bay, China. Laboratory experiments of the bio-chemical decay of COD have been undertaken for the sea water. In order to calibrate the model, a large scale continuous field data program has also been undertaken for this study.
