Abstract: The variation with the time of nutrient concentrations, like nitrate and phosphate, into the sea can provide important information about the life of aquatic organisms. The sample analyses of the Adriatic Sea quality show an improvement, probably due to the wastewater treatment efficacy and to the reduction of the nutrient produced by industrial activities. An evaluation of amount of the nutrients released along Apulia's coast during last years has been carried out to confirm this aspect.
