Diffusion Model of Cu and Zn in Shallow Reservoir

Abstract: Sedimentary processes that involve trace metal elements are difficult to model because of the interaction of hydrodynamic processes and physico-chemical ones. In this paper the difference in processes time scales is taking into account and a simplified model of film diffusion of Cu and Zn into solid particle surfaces is coupled with a time scale larger physico-chemical model of adsorption, coprecipitation, surface precipitation and absorption.
