Abstract: The research here is intended to investigate the propriety of the application of numerical simulation, with a view to achieving the practical introduction of nu-merical simulation secure labor saving and higher efficiency in experimentation. This will be achieved by comparing the results of numerical simulation with those from local measuring and hydraulic model experiments. As a result of comparing the results of numerical simulation with those of local measuring and hydraulic model experimentation, it was found that it is possible to accurately reproduce the local and hydraulic model flow conditions and investigate channel shape by means of numerical simulation.
