Abstract: The development and subsequent verification of a three-dimensional (3D) model of Chesapeake Bay and its major tributaries that is coupled through an extended grid with the Atlantic Ocean is discussed. Since the modeling effort is focused on the bay's tributaries, only verification results in the tributaries are presented.
