Abstract: A joint numerical hydrodynamic model of the delta, mouth off-shore zone of the Ural River, and the Caspian Sea is suggested to estimate level surfaces in the mouth portion of the Ural River subject to both discharge from the river and wind-induced surges, taking into account possible changes in the sea background level in the range between-28.0 and-25.0 m BS. An estimate of contours and depths of flooding of territories of the Ural River delta is provided for natural conditions and for various options of protective dikes.
