Turbulent Bursting-Based Formulation of Suspended Sediment Transport Capacity

Abstract: A turbulent bursting-based theoretical model for suspended sediment transport capacity of open channel flow is developed. In special situations, the simplified theory is consistent with existing empirical and semi-empirical relations. Comparison of the theory with measured data is presented to demonstrate its satisfactory performance.
