Abstract: Recently an enhancement of the productivity in coastal culture ground become to the important subjects, and much efforts have been conducted in coastal hydraulic problems to get some physical processes such as sea water exchange or conveyance. Numerical experiments on the flow variation due to the hanging culture facilities are carried out. The experiment conditions are determined from the oyster culture grounds located in Kamak bay, Korea. In the evaluation of the flow field, an additive pressure drag force is considered. The pressure drag is expressed only as a drag coefficient, cross section area of facility and facility density. The velocity decay rate in the numerical model is comparable with the field measurement data. The horizontal velocity distribution is affected sensitively by the density and layout of the facilities.
