Abstract: Numerical modelling is demonstrated as a useful tool for qualita- tive investigations of coagulating multi-phase flow. The deficiency of these models is still their inability to fully integrate the physical and chemical processes of phase interaction and thus their insufficient quantitative exact- ness. Conventional physical modelling can partly improve the reliability of the obtained data if the appropriate model laws are applied. Exact modelling nevertheless requires a modified physical model. In this case the MP-model offers a solution for a distinctive calibration of the model operation in order to obtain maximum coincidence of prototype and model results. The new modelling approach considers the influence of Multiple-Parameters and is successfully applied in optimising hydraulic structures.
