Abstract: The concentration distribution of oiled wastewater in open channel is stu- died by means of experimental and numerical method in this paper. The experiment is carried out for nine working conditions with different discharges in open channel and different ratios of oil to water in the oiled wastewater. The flow field and oil concentration field are measured and numerically solved by using the k-ε turbulence model for each working condition. Comparison of numerical results with the measured data shows good conformity. It shows that the results will make a deeper revealing for the properties and mechanism of the oiled wastewater diffusion under the water surface.
