Abstract: A bichromatic wave experiment in a long tank is reported. Surface elevation measured at 6 locations is presented. A strong variation of the wave pattern downstream the tank is observed. This is coupled to significant energy transfer between spectral components, including new side bands. Preliminary analysis indicates agreement with 4th order wave model predictions from the literature.
