Abstract: The heat fluxes coming to and penetrating through the ice cover at the surface of a reservoir in spring were measured. The 1D model of heat distribution through the depth of a pool reproducing experimental data was developed. The comparison of the results of modeling with those of measurements shows the adequacy of heat balance model in ice-covered reservoir to the real processes.
