Abstract: In order to simulate the behaviors of the Bohai Sea ice more accurately, which is necessary to deal with the problem of ice~structure interaction, a field sea ice observation station was established on an offshore platform. The meteorological and oceanographic data and the sea ice conditions were recorded simultaneously and continuously. Based on the data, some thermodynamic and dynamic parameters, such as the solar radiation, the oceanic heat flux and the sea ice drag coefficients, were determined.
