Abstract: A total of seven tests were conducted in a laboratory wave tank in the period of 4-13 February, 1997 (phase m. INTERICE Project, Eicken et a! ., this volume). The purpose of this sub-project was to determine the effect of wind, current, and wave conditions on the formation of pancake ice cover, and in turn, the effect of ice cover evolution on wave properties.
