Abstract: We consider the case of solid ice cover between a bank and an isolated structure. On the other side of an isolated structure there can be broken ice or open water surface. 1f an isolated structure prevents ice cover hom free changing in size due to the temperature change, the structure is subjected to the influence of unbalanced effort. Methods of load calculation under the considered interaction of freshwater ice cover and an isolated structure are devised.
