Abstract: In current decade (from 1986/1987 to 1995/1996), it occurs the lightest ice disasters on the lower Yellow River since 1950, because of great changes of thennal and hydraulic conditions and channel morphology which influence changes of ice conditions on the lower stream. This paper analyzed briefly on the characteristics of changes of air temperature, runoff and ice conditions on the lower Yellow River in current decade.
