Abstract: Underice flow is similar to pressure flow in a plane pipe with walls of different roughness. It is a very complex subject of inquiry in nature. A good amount of knowledge on structure of under cover flows in laboratory Humes has already been accumulated. As a rule, Reynolds number Re in laboratory Humes is several orders less than that in rivers. It is practically impossible to create a model of ice cover in a laboratory, so the results of studying of underice flow structure in rivers are of great interest.
