Abstract: The upper of Heilongjiang river is situated at the frigid zone of China, at the north of forty-five degrees north lati­tude. From 1916 to 1985, large ice dike emerged over 10 times, which brought about the flood that affected the areas over hundreds and thousands miles away, and resulted in a lot of economic losses. Therefore, we should pay attention to ice dike prediction.
