Abstract: The problem of ice dams is serious both in China and in the world. Flood disasters caused by ice dams have been endangering the life and property of the people on both banks. This paper discusses the main factors which could be the causes of forming ice dams in some degree. Fuzzy models for predicting ice dams are discussed. Intelligence Aid Decision method of predicting ice dams is also discussed in the paper.
