Abstract:

Presented herein is a description of the methodology and the results of a probabilistic ice load study undertaken for three types of structures considered for use in ice covered waters of Norton Sound, Alaska. The methodology developed should also be useful for computing ice loads on offshore structures operating in other subarctic seas.
