Abstract: Coastal processes associated with ice dynamics along the northern coast of Alaska are not well understood. Transportation planning and future construction require that additional environmental data be obtained for this region. Discussed in this paper are various ice-related applications made with the imagery from NOAA series satellites for this coastal region.
