Abstract: This paper analyzes the characteristics of groundwater aquifers and groundwater recharge characteristics in water source areas, establishes a three-dimensional hydrogeological conceptual model, and puts forward a model solution method and steps based on Galerkin finite element method. Taking a typical water source area in China as an example, the large-scale groundwater environment finite element numerical simulation software FEFLOW is used for simulation calculation. The results show that the method proposed in this study can quickly and accurately simulate the groundwater dynamics, and can provide technical support for the prediction and supervision of regional water resources supply and demand balance.
