Abstract: Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) is the purposeful recharge of water to aquifers for subsequent recovery or environmental benefit achieved through various schemes (Dillon et al, 2019). Suitability and feasibility mapping for MAR is recently gaining more attention because of its potential in producing comprehensive maps easily interpreted and used by policy makers. In front of the diverse existing methodologies, an innovative adapted approach was developed in the framework of AGREEMAR project to generate MAR feasibility maps within a participatory approach. Stakeholders were identified and they were involved in MAR suitability mapping process (Fig. 1).
