Abstract: Water regime of streams and small rivers is poorly studied in Russia. The main aim of the work was to study the water regime of the Konkovsky stream (Moscow city, Russia) using the hydrology model HBV. The modification of the model with a time resolution of 30 minutes was used, as input data on precipitation pluviograph data and radar data were chosen. Based on simulated and observed data Konkovsky stream has a flood water regime: during the 2019-2023 the average number of floods was 24, the average maximum discharge of floods was 0.33 m3/s, and the maximum was 1.85 m3/s. The paper illustrates that the HBV model can be adapted for small urban rivers’ studying.
