Abstract: The accurate monitoring of hydroclimatic variables is critical for water resource management and environmental planning. The SOILPARAM 2.0 app was developed using Google Earth Engine (GEE), uniquely addresses challenges in real-time access and processing of large-scale environmental data. As one of the first tools of its kind, it integrates multi-source hydroclimatic datasets, including NASA’s SMAP, ERA5, and FLDAS, for global and local applications. This innovation provides young researchers and environmental scientists immediate access to variables critical for monitoring water resource dynamics, such as surface and subsurface soil moisture, soil temperature, and precipitation. SOILPARAM 2.0’s advanced visualization and download capabilities enhance its role as a resource for data-driven environmental planning. This tool supports researchers and decision-makers in improving water resource management and climate adaptation strategies.
