Abstract: Constructing digital twin river basins has become the core task and objective of current smart water conservancy development. The knowledge graph of water conservancy is one of the important tools for the construction of the knowledge platform in the digital twin platform. It provides significant support for decision-making in water resources management, water conservancy engineering design, and water environmental protection by representing knowledge in the field of water conservancy in a structured and semantic manner. This paper aims to review the related research on the knowledge graph of water conservancy, hoping to provide references for the further development of this field. Firstly, this paper introduces the research status of the knowledge graph of water conservancy, including its research significance and construction methods. Secondly, it systematically summarizes the existing application achievements of the knowledge graph of water conservancy. Finally, it proposes directions and development trends for future research, including the deep integration of knowledge graphs and machine learning. This will help promote the development of research on knowledge graphs in the field of water conservancy and contribute to the construction of digital twin river basin platforms.
