Abstract: Currently, China’s water management is faced with problems such as water shortages, serious water environment pollution, frequent extreme water disasters, and low water management efficiency. In order to deal with the above problems, smart water affairs need to rely on advanced information technology, big data analysis, artificial intelligence and other means to build intelligent perception, intelligent analysis and intelligent decision-making systems to achieve refined management and efficient utilization of water resources. Starting from the needs of urban water management and application, and based on the overall requirements of smart water conservancy and digital twin construction, this article focuses on the water digital twin big data management, two- and three-dimensional integrated platform support services, water business model management, and flood control plan visualization, and other key technologies. Taking Wuhan City as an example, this paper established a water affairs digital twin platform and initially realized the full-chain business application of “sensor monitoring - data aggregation - model calculation - preview plan”, effectively improving the intelligent and intelligent water management of Wuhan City, providing technical support for the implementation of smart water services.
