Abstract:

Floodwater entering a person’s home and fear of repeat flood incidents is a major social and economicproblem across the world. This article illustrates a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of multiple types of Nature-based Solution (NbS) for flood mitigation applied to the same small catchment in UK. Farmer co-delivery proved invaluable to this pilot NbS scheme.
