Numerical Solution of 2D Shallow Water Equations Using FV Method over Curvilinear Grid

Abstract: The objective of this research, is to develop a high order accurate, characteristic based finite volume method using curvilinear grids for the shallow water equations. We study several numerical methods and interpolation on different test cases. The resulting scheme is shown to be capable of presenting, high accurate, oscillation free results for complex shallow water problems over curvilinear grid.
