Abstract: In the last years, the community became more concerned about climate change impacts (namely, in surface water hydrology and crop irrigation requirements). To assess these impacts, and to assist water resources planning in a changing climate, it is necessary to develop temperature and precipitation inputs containing the climate change trend and the observation details. This work explores a methodology, applicable to any region, to assess regionally projected climate change and to define such climate inputs.
