Abstract: The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the mountain streams, which exhibit high sediment transport and channel gradient, to be not suitable in order to approach the morphological equilibrium concept, to analyze the channel modelling phenomena and to apply the hydraulic geometry principles. For this aim the bed-load transport equation of Meyer-Peter and Muller has been used.
