Abstract: Inflatable rubber dams have been utilized for a variety of purposes including water supply and storage, ground water recharging, irrigation, hydroelectric power, tidal barriers, and recreation. The first inflatable Rubber Dam was constructed on Buyuk Menderes River in Turkey for protecting and restoring the aquatic environment. There was not enough flow from Buyuk Menderes River to the Lake because of extreme drought and high temperature. Since 1989 precipitation in this area decrease very much and increase evaporation so the lake water level decrease up to –0. 24 m. Physical, chemical, biological properties of the lake have changed in time. In 1991 prepared by DSI + Nedesco environment report, water level holds constant in +2. 00 m for rehabilitation of fish potential in Bafa Lake and other wild life. By this way the important area for increasing of fish and wild life will be covered by water again.
