Abstract: Beginning from recent field data, in the present paper some aspects of the environmental state of a lagoon, particularly interested by anthropic actions, have been studied. Such actions have produced on the habitat of the lagoon both temporary and permanent degradations. In fact the field data (concerning the fluid exchange between the lagoon and the sea, the dissolved oxygen, the sediments) and the bathymetry conformation induced by improper dredging in the lagoon bed confirm hydrodynamic conditions of crisis. The analysis of the dynamics of sediments shows a permanent effect of degradation that only expensive remedy works can remove bringing the water body under conditions of environmental equilibrium.
