Abstract: This paper analyzes the scour and siltation in lock approach at Cao’e river mouth by sediment transport model and physical sediment model. It is verified using the data collected from the field experiment at tidal channel down stream of the tide barrage at Taojialu, where the tidal current and characteristics of sediment transport are very similar to Cao’e river mouth, and the result is satisfied.
