Abstract: This paper presents a comparison of existing formulae for the prediction of berm breakwater overtopping with new data collected in a two dimensional physical model study of equivalent berm breakwater sections conducted in IH-Cantabria, Spain. The tests included the evaluation of the relative performance of berm structures with different dynamic reshaping levels. The cross-sections were such that the berm geometry and stone volume was maintained constant for both sections. Analyses of test results indicated new parameters for wave overtopping predictions.
